Based in Orlando, Florida, Dr. Nikki Vyas, MD is the medical director of Vyas Pathology in Oviedo. Dr. Nikki Vyas performs microscopic analysis and diagnosis of various dermatopathology specimens, writes dermatopathology reports, and participates in relevant research and clinical studies, including those relating to developing and using pathology artificial intelligence.
Previously, Dr. Nikki Vyas served as a dermatopathologist at facilities such as Dermapath Diagnostics and a high-volume private lab in Tampa. She is a member of the American Society of Dermatopathology (ASDP) Social Media Committee and has also served on the ASDP Membership Committee and the College of American Pathologists Federal and State Affairs Committee.
In addition to her work as a researcher and dermatopathologist, Dr. Nikki Vyas authored numerous articles and book chapters. Her writings have appeared in Cutis, a peer-reviewed clinical journal, and the Atlas of Dermatology, Dermatopathology, and Venereology, among other publications.
Dr. Nikki Vyas received her medical degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. She completed her Anatomic and Clinical Pathology residency training at Mount Sinai, serving as the Chief Resident. She is a board-certified practitioner with the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and Dermatopathology.
